ZYTC Alloy Successfully Delivers Alloy 718 Forged Bar – Precision Engineered to AMS 5663P
ZYTC Alloy is proud to announce the successful completion and delivery of a major Alloy 718 forged bar order, manufactured in strict compliance with AMS 5663P and inspected to AMS 2154E Gr. AA. The order comprised Alloy 718 forged Bars in diameters of 520mm and 460mm, delivered in the solution-treated and aged condition with turn-ground surface finish.
Alloy 718 – also known as UNS N07718, Inconel® 718, or W.Nr. 2.4668– is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium superalloy that exhibits exceptional high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and corrosion resistance. The Alloy 718 bars were ultrasonically inspected to AMS 2154E Grade AA, one of the most stringent acceptance classifications for wrought metals.
