Alloy 601 is a nickel-chromium Alloy With the addition of aluminum, engineered to deliver outstanding resistance to oxidation and other forms of high-temperature corrosion. The aluminum content promotes the formation of a tightly adherent oxide scale that resists spalling even under severe thermal cycling conditions.
