    About Alloy

    Titanium Grade 2, also known as Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 2 (CP Grade 2), is a commercially available unalloyed titanium grade. It is the most commonly used grade of titanium due to its excellent balance of strength, corrosion resistance, formability, and weldability.
    Titanium Grade 2 is composed of 99.2% pure titanium, with trace amounts of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, hydrogen, and iron. It possesses good corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments, including seawater, brine, and various acids. This makes it suitable for applications in chemical processing, marine equipment, and other corrosive environments.
    One of the notable features of Titanium Grade 2 is its high strength-to-weight ratio. It is approximately 50% lighter than steel, yet it has comparable strength. This makes it highly desirable for industries that require strong and lightweight materials, such as aerospace, automotive, and sports equipment.
    Furthermore, Titanium Grade 2 is biocompatible, non-toxic, and resistant to corrosion in the human body. As a result, it is widely used in medical and dental implants, surgical instruments, and prosthetics.
    Titanium Grade 2 is also known for its excellent formability and weldability. It can be easily fabricated into various shapes and sizes, including sheets, plates, bars, tubes, and wires. It exhibits good ductility and can withstand high temperatures.
