About Alloy
1080 is a high-purity aluminum alloy with excellent plasticity, corrosion resistance, conductivity, and thermal conductivity. However, it has low strength and cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. Its machinability is poor; it can be gas welded, hydrogen atom welded, and spot welded, but it is not easily soldered. It is easy to withstand various pressure processing and stretching, bending.
