    About Alloy

    Alloy 422 is a martensitic stainless steel alloy prized for its exceptional combination of high strength, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance. With a chromium content of around 12-13%, it exhibits excellent resistance to oxidation and scaling at elevated temperatures up to 649°C (1200°F). This alloy's composition also includes molybdenum and silicon, contributing to its robust mechanical properties and hardenability.
